Navigating pet aftercare can bring a mix of emotions and questions. Below, we’ve compiled answers to common questions to help you feel more informed and supported during this time.

About Aquamation

Aquamation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis, is a gentle water-based process that provides a sustainable and respectful alternative to traditional fire cremation. This process uses water, combined with alkali and time, to return your pet to nature in a way that’s similar to what happens naturally underground.

Unlike fire cremation, aquamation produces no greenhouse gas emissions, burns no fossil fuels, and uses 90% less energy. It’s a more eco-friendly option that aligns with our commitment to honoring both pets and the planet.

Yes, we ensure every pet is cared for individually. Each pet has its own chamber throughout the process, guaranteeing that only your pet’s remains are returned to you.

Service Details

We offer two options for your convenience and comfort:

  • Pick-Up: Our compassionate team can pick up your pet from your home or veterinary clinic free of charge within Arizona.
  • Delivery: Once the aquamation process is complete, your pet’s remains can either be picked up at our memorial care center or delivered back to your home.

Yes, you are also welcome to bring your pet to our aftercare facilities.

We return your pet’s remains in a dignified transitional urn. If you’d like, we also offer a selection of personalized urns to suit your preferences, allowing you to create a lasting memory of your beloved companion.

  • Private Cremation: Your pet is placed in an individual chamber, and only their ashes are returned to you.
  • Group Cremation: Several pets are cremated together, and ashes are respectfully scattered at sea. This option does not return ashes to families.
