Charlie was my imperfect, yet perfect rescue. A plate with screws in his right paw couldn’t keep him from anything! He loved many hours in the backyard and on the hiking trail, herding cattle (up close and from the truck on the highway), cooling off in the pool and traveling the country as my co-pilot. We had our own language. Thank you, Charlie for so many wonderful chapters together. You taught me so very much. Rescue dogs rock! ❤️
