Who We Are
We started AquaCrossings to help people like us. We are pet parents, animal lovers, environmentally conscious thinkers, and have experienced grief and loss.
We were planning to say goodbye to our 14 year old Goldendoodle Tyberious and wanted to make sure we were prepared when the time came. After touring a few facilities in the Phoenix area and feeling like we needed more, we decided to look into alternatives.
After researching we discovered an eco-friendly, gentle solution called Aquamation that would put our minds at ease when thinking about our senior dog.
We started AquaCrossings to share this better alternative to handle pet end of life with all families in the Metro Phoenix area. Additionally, we know that everyone’s grief and loss process is different, and we strive to provide support in any way we can. We wanted to create a support group that you and your family can lean on during this difficult time.
Aquamation is a form of pet cremation also known as alkaline hydrolysis, that produces no harmful greenhouse gas emissions unlike traditional fire based cremation.
Aquamation uses warm water, time and alkali to mimic the natural decomposition of tissue that occurs after burial. Here at AquaCrossings we are bringing the first water based alternative to cremation to the Metro Phoenix area to honor both your pet and the planet.

Pickup and Delivery
We welcome you to bring your pet to our aftercare facility at 1818 W 4th St in Tempe, AZ. We also offer pickup from your home where our team will arrive at your house with a stretcher and blankets to gently take your pet into our care. Please contact us directly to schedule a pickup for your pet.
Remains can be picked up from our aftercare facility within 1 week of receiving your pet or we can deliver your pet’s remains to your house. Delivery can be scheduled with the drop off form below, or you can contact us directly to schedule an at home drop off.
